2025 Reset: It's a New Year, New Beginnings

Even though the new year has already begun, it’s never too late for a fresh start (who else loves a good reset?).

Here's how to kickstart your cozy, intentional new year:

1. Go Through Your Closet
Start by sorting through your clothes. Get rid of pieces you haven’t worn in over six months, things that no longer align with your style, or items you simply don’t want anymore. Don’t throw them away—donate them to a local women’s shelter, Goodwill, or a thrift store. If you’re looking for quick cash, you can list them on Depop, Poshmark, Vinted, ThredUp, Mercari, or take them to a local consignment shop.

2. Deep Clean Your Home
Give your space a fresh start with a thorough cleaning. Clean the bathrooms, wash all linens, scrub that kitchen down, and move your furniture to clean behind. Reorganize your pantry (check for expired food!) and fridge (say goodbye to old leftovers). Dust everywhere (your skin and lungs will thank you) and don’t forget to unclog your drains (get a hair catcher, sis!). Restock essentials like laundry detergent, pantry items, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies.

3. Rearrange Your Furniture
New year, new vibes for your space! I love rearranging furniture because it gives my home a sense of newness and freshness. It’s the perfect way to get inspired again, and it helps shift your energy. There's nothing that keeps you in a slump more than things staying the same, let's fix that! Switch things up with a new comforter, pillowcases, or throw blankets to bring in that cozy freshness.

4. Start Your New Self-Care Habits Now
Whatever you've been wanting to add (or remove) start now. Don’t wait months to until you start your new self-care routines. If you’ve been wanting to go to bed earlier, start now. Maybe you want to add dry brushing, set a reminder on your phone and stick to it no matter what. The longer you wait, the longer you put off the changes you’re craving. Start with just one thing, and commit to it. Don’t wait for the perfect moment—make it happen now! And remember, self-care isn't just about what you can do for yourself physically. It's about mental, spiritual, and emotional wellness as well.

5. Reflect on 2024
We often feel like we haven’t accomplished much when we’re in the thick of it, but when you reflect on the year and write down everything you’ve achieved, you’ll see how far you’ve come. Celebrate the wins, big and small!

6. Set Your Goals & Script Your Life
I’m all about manifesting the life you want. Write out your goals, dreams, and desires then script your life as if everything has already happened. Visualize it, feel it, and watch it happen exactly as you said it would. Don’t waver or doubt. And remember: once you say it, it’s done.


Embrace this fresh start—whether it’s the first of the year or the middle of January, the perfect time for change is always now. Keep it cozy, keep it real, and make 2025 your year of intentional growth.
